Fabrizio Bosso & Rosario Giuliani Quartet

Fabrizio Bosso, trumpet
Rosario Giuliani, saxophone
Alberto Gurrisi, Hammond organ
Marco Valeri, drums

In “Connection” the two outstanding, internationally acclaimed Italian musicians, trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso and saxophonist Rosario Giuliani, lead their quartet bandmates Alberto Gurrisi (Hammond organ) and Marco Valeri (drums) in an enthralling, strongly rhythmic repertoire which brings together jazz standards and original compositions.

Fabrizio Bosso is not only internationally hailed for his refined technique but also for the intense charge of emotion and feeling of his inspired solos, sometimes exquisitely virtuosic, sometimes intensely lyrical, always precise and poignant, informed by many of the genres, styles and encounters of his long, multi-faceted concert activity.

Rosario Giuliani’s solos are no less: each concert night, he immediately enraptures his audiences with his fluid yet dynamic phrasing of his singing horn, and he does so effortlessly, naturally. No wonder he has been affiliated with the likes of great saxophonists such as Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, Art Pepper and John Coltrane.
